Out Reach and Science Communication

Connected through humanity by sharing differences

Programs and Media

  • Science On Wheels

Designed and led a school outreach program connecting scientists with local schools. Researchers visit classrooms to share their stories, answer questions, and guide students through a hands-on experiment. Contact me if interested in visiting a school or hosting scientists!

  • Blog

I have had the privilege and honor of learning from diverse communities through hands-on experiences. From conducting scientific research to staying with monks in the Himalayas of Nepal, it has been a goal of mine to explore the knowledge systems of the world. I want to share these experiences and ideas to connect people with each other.

  • Indigenous Coproduction of Knowledge

Co-produced 3D models and corresponding databases of arctic heritage artifacts with the Alaskan Yupik and Inupiaq nations. I investigated arctic collections of the University of Missouri Museum of Anthropology and collaborated with arctic indigenous nations to contribute to a story map of Yupik and Inupiaq history and heritage items.
